AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
TreeHouse ClubHouse After-School Program offers an opportunity for a child’s personal growth in a hygienic and safe environment, where we encourage and coach social interactions, enhance creativity and promote physical fitness.
TreeHouse ClubHouse is guided by values that influence our actions and the decisions we make: Caring, Health, Honesty, Inclusiveness, Respect, Responsibility and Fitness.
We have collaborated with the Durham Student Transportation Services to provide your child a safe ride from their school to TreeHouse ClubHouse.
In addition, your child will be provided with a healthy snack, time to work on their homework, and enrollment in one of our many course offerings that includes supervised free playtime on our custom playground.
Your child will need to be picked up from TreeHouse ClubHouse by 6pm.
PROGRAMS
CREATIVE ARTS
Your child will enjoy a vast array of projects including art, pottery, cooking, drawing, painting, working with prints, textiles, sculpting, dance, puzzles, games and much, much more!
These classes focus on each child’s creative side, offering a balance between learning new concepts, experimenting with materials and tools through art and cooking and socializing with friends. Wonderful creations are produced in each class, although we like to stress that the focus is on the process and not the final product!
STEM
Your child will engage in a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) experiments that are both fun and mind stimulating.
We help kids develop the skills and confidence to become innovators, inventors, and entrepreneurs.
PHYSICAL FITNESS
Our program offers supervised sessions of physical play at our custom indoor playground. Staffs are positioned throughout the structure to monitor children and be sure that their play is safe and their conduct is respectful.
Sessions are limited to age group and class size.
HOMEWORK AREA
TreeHouse ClubHouse is aware of the long working days parents face, which is why we offer a dedicated quiet space for children to work on their homework.
